I have been a childminder since November 2004 and I am registered with Ofsted and I am also a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years). My daughter Rachel has been working as my assistant since September 2012, which has greatly enhanced the service I can now provide. Also my husband Dave is now an assistant and will help out occassionally when needed.

 

Qualifications
As well as both having a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Rachel and I  hold current certificates in Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene and Enhanced DBS checks. We also complete regular Safeguarding and other relevant training courses.

Family
Dave also holds a current Paediatric First Aid certificate and an enhanced DBS check. He works in his office on the premises as a graphic designer. We also have a cat called Charlie who is very friendly.

At Little Flowers Childminding, we offer a loving, nurturing environment. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework for the under 5’s and take the children out and also to a toddlers group to further their learning opportunities and to have fun.
